About the Concert Series
We are excited to continue our concert series, and we invite all mentors and mentees to join us!
For families, you can view our two successful concerts below for the general idea of how it works. Please don’t let your child feel stressed – this will be a relaxed environment for all the students to know each other and connect through music. While we recommend a performance, it is not mandatory – they could choose to share their favorite song, an interesting story, or anything that is music-related. The concerts are usually an hour long.
Mentee Concert
On Saturday, August 29th, we hosted our first virtual music concert since our expansion in July! We had nine violin and clarinet players perform solo pieces from various many different cities around the U.S. In addition to these amazing performances, we got to know each other a little bit by giving fun self-introductions. We are so proud of how hard our mentors and mentees have been working. Congratulations!
Mentee Concert
Our first mini virtual concert was successfully held on the last day of May! Violin, piano and bass players from 1st to 7th grade gave amazing solo, duo and four-hands performances. Along with amazing performances, everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other through mini ice-breakers and discussions on current situations.
