Crystal Huang

Founder and mentor

Crystal is a rising senior at Belmont High School and is studying piano and voice. She has won top prizes in the KAWAI International Piano Competition, the Hong Kong-Asia International Piano Open Competition, AFAF and so on. She has lived in Beijing for fifteen years and has been a member of the China Broadcasting Children’s Chorus since fourth grade. After moving to the United States, she continues her chorus activities at the NEC Youth Chorale and Camerata. She is also the youngest volunteer at the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Environmental Music Program, where she plays piano for the patients there. Apart from music, she’s passionate about psychology and cognitive science. She’s an indoor person that prefers watching movies or youtube, but she’ll step outside for Italian food, new restaurants and good travels.
